I hopped up on the table where Strieby keeps her laptop.
I thought today would be a good day to write about castles and fish, maybe
even whales. Strangely they go together in my mole life. You see Strieby
knows this and has weaved all this in her new book.
This castle was made by me and my talented mole friends, Keith. Fredie, and Sandro,
cousin Vinnie the Shrew, and Spider Leggs
Spider found a recipe on his web on how to make permanent sand castles.
We had made castles out of plain dirt before (Book 1), but this was
a real challenge. It even has a spiraling staircase. This is no little grass
shack and we could easily see humuhumunukunukuapua’as (state fish)
swimming by. glistening in the water. Occasionally a small water spout
and large fins would get our attention from the whales who
visted eaxh year from the Gulf of Alaska.
This is my gift to you today. Many blessings from Mayor Molly
McMole, wishing she were back in Kauai with Lorraine
filling her in about a book about my
famous ancestor, Christopher McMole, stay tuned!
