Washington was in NYC with our troops.
The forefather Franklin (below) helped win the war.
Washington had a plan—we will get them in Yorktown and it took him 5 years 1781. Franklyn went to France to visit the Royal Court. The ladies thought he was cool.
There he got France to join us by delivering 24 ships and an admiral De Grasse and the biggest gun ship in the world. Cornwallis didn’t have a clue and the Brits were humiliated at Yorktown.
Washington and Warrant Officer black Billy Lee were there to meet and greet Cornwallis but he was cowering in his Redoubt
Get the message. “And the rockets red glare”
That was De Grasse taking out the Brit’s’ ships with rockets! Bet you weren’t taught this in school.
