FOOTBALL HANDBOOK 6TH BOOK IN MAYOR MOLLY MCMOLE SERIES BY STRIEBY This book has a twist, and I don't want to give away the story and the plot, but it is fun and it has two forewords written by two of my favorites veterinarians. Mayor Molly McMole and her mole tribe and Sophia the Cat found another Peterbilt with a friendly trucker and a school with some seccret places to build a permanent Mole Town. Just in time to save a football coach that has had three losing seasons. Mayor Molly and cat Sophia come up with an idea that helps the coach. What could it be? Hint: it is creative and fun. for pricing contact Strieby at lorrainestriebyproductions@gmail.com or lstrieby.org
This is the last illustration in Strieby's sixth book. I finally decided to dig my mole holes under the seats of a school football stadium. I know why I did this and it has an amazing story. You know I try to help the situation, and there was this lady coach that needed to win a few games. I know that Strieby was just showing off, that she knew football--but her solution helped this losing coach. Mayor Molly McMole MMM 20 in x 16 in, on paper or canvas with gallery wrap, shipped in tubes Please contact Strieby for pricing, lorrainestriebyproductions or lstrieby.org
I HAVE A STORY Strieby was in this show at a gallery in Newbury Park, California when Covid came. (sponsored by the National Park Service) She was even going to play their grand piano for the reception, she calls herself a coctail piano player. Well she should do something else besides painting, writing, and teaching. Do you know that she does her best work in the morning hours so today she starting blogging at 6 am. Mayor Molly McMole, MMMM (by the way, this show was cancelled because of Covid). This photo is not for sale, just a little background from me, Molly McMole
LUNCHEON OF THE BOAT PARTY, Excuse me Pierre Renoir, but this painting inspired the party scene in book 1 of my children's book, CAT SOPHIA AND MAYOR MOLLY MCMOLE. Not only will your child learn about making friends, but the knowledge of the great painter Renoir. I just substituted Molly's mole tribe. These moles love their town under the trees, little did they know that a contractor was going to build a big cement parking lot right above their town, covering up their Mole Town, making for an adventure covering two continents and Hawaii. This print would be ideal in a child's bedroom. 16 in x 20 in on paper or on canvas with a gallery wrap, shipped in tubes. Please check my email, lorrainestriebyproductions for pricing or lstrieby.org
ROSES I don't paint many abstracts but I'm pretty proud of this one. 28 x 28 on paper or canvas, gallery wrap, shipped in tubes For pricing please contact me at lorrainestriebyproductions, or lstrieby.org

Echo Park, Los Angeles

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES Here we are a beautiful lake right down the middle of the city, on the way to theater or on the right Dodger Stadium on top of the hill. Easy to get to off the Interstate 5 or the 2 from Glendale. I'm glad I painted this when I did because now there is a fence and the view isn't quite as exciting. Remember, I like to do montages, move things around a bit, but this painting is pretty right on! Please email me for pricing lorrainestriebyproductions@gmail.com lstrieby.org 28 x 24, on paper or canvas, gallery wrap shipped in tube
ANGEL IN REPOSE Finding angels in Los Angeles was really not hard as you might think. Here she is waiting for someone special. The county courthouse is there and I used some city maps again on the angel and the background. I started this painting in Albuquerque in mmy sketch book, finishing in my studio. There are 12 angels all together because of my goal to publish a City of Angels Calendar. SHIPROCK NEW MEXICO, 3,000,000 YEARS OLD WITH SHEPHERD

-- SHIPROCK, NEW MEXICO -- This image appreared to me as I was driving up the 491 in New Mexico. In real time it is raining and the Austrailian Shepherd is guarding his sheep alone--no human shepherd in sight. Being a dog lover, I knew that the human shepherd had faith--this dog knew his stuff, the sheep were safe! I could even see with a quick glance the white of the dog's eye as he surveyed the highway so the sheep could cross safely. The Navajo do not fence their territory so shepherds are very important. Well, here is the ancient valcano core called Shiprock. Let me rehash this, it is raining, I saw this extraoridinary dog, the sheep-- so this painting all had to be done by memory. Please email me concerning pricing lorrainestriebyproductions@gmail.com or lstrieby.org 20 in x 16 in on paper or canvas with gallery wrap, shipped in tube

The Southwest Beauty

MY SOUTHWEST SERIES Some people don't like the desert. I can't see their point, the desert redstone mountains, carved into magestic castles, bridges, just holes in the rocks. I have rafted down the Colorado twice, saw Anasazi pottery chards lying on its shores (protecsted by law), the confluence of the Little Colorado and the Colorado is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.

SNIPPET OF WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY -- Well I'm no fair weather fan, I suffer the defeats and cheer the wins. Morgantown, WV, is rated no. l in small towns in some polls. My painting of Morgantown hangs in the Monongalia Art Center for which I am proud and Dr. Charles Mahan bought and donated a print to Morgantown High School, my maiden name is Lorraine Ayer and very few people know my first name. Enough already, WVU gives out very few retired jersey numbers. So here are some of the retired jersey men with the Monongahela River in the background. This river is famous in the French Indian War, one of the few rivers that flows North, and joins the Allegheny River to form the Ohio. Well do you know the Jersey 44 guy? Well he still works in Los Angeles for the LA Clippers--Jerry West. Miy husband, Marc Constantine, played basketball with West for the WVU Mountaineers. Today I had a photo shoot in my art studio here in Vista, CA. The photographer came from Houston to photograph me and my books of Mayor Molly McMole. The Monongahela River is in my Book Five, WHY IS A SPY CALLED A MOLE, featuring Commander George Washington, who was a hero in the French Indian War, learned fighting skills and led our troops in the American Revolution, before getting his desk job, The First President of the USA!! Yea Morgantown! When I fly into Pittsburgh I love to see the Golden Triangle and see the confluence of these rivers, approx 80 miles from Morgantown. #morgantown #Monogahela #westvirginiauniversity #morgantownhighschool #basketball #pittsburg #goldentriangle #frenchindianwar #americanrevolution #georgewashington wvulettermen #wvubasketball #jerrywest #tonyconstantine #morgantownpost

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN HELPED WIN THE REVOLUTION, BET YOU DIDN'T LEARN THIIS IN SCHOOL

Benjamin Franklin as a young man If you met Franklin today I believe you couldn't help but like him, he was charming and the ladies were attracted to him. He was just engaging! Well, Washington knew this and he knew he needed 24 ships to beat the British. So off to the French Court Franklin went and with his famous charm got France to give us 24 war ships, including the Ville de Paris, 110 cannons on board. Washington tricked the British and then Fleet Admiral de Grasse from the West Indies shot the British masts down and Cornwallis was hemmed in. Did you learn this in school? Bet not Strieby wasn't going to put Franklin in her book, WHY IS A SPY CALLED A MOLE--ABOUT THE REVOLLUTION, but after 4 years of reearch she forgave him for not going to his wife's funeral and here Franklin is in the French Court with a beautiful woman of the French Court. This is all in her Book 5--about my ancestor, Master Spy for Commander George Washington. I don't think she wanted to give this away, and here she comes so I have to jump down my Mole Hole, Bye!
