Mystery Man-- Black Soldier Found in at Least 4 Portraits with George Washington, in Battle and at Mount Vernon

If You Like Puzzles

Go figure...this mystery man is found in early portraits, in uniform, handsome, not-so-much, painted by different artists in different  time periods in his life with Commander-in-Chief and then President George Washington
I've found four, can you find more?
Since he is definitely in uniform why did historians of the day and present call him a slave when in reality he was a Forefather, maybe the most important one because he saved Washington's life more than once.
He was Mr. Billy Lee, Honorable Discharge,  American Revolution
Important more than ever to get this man proper recognition
Important Mystery Forefather
