Fashionista Mayor Molly McMole Is a Problem Solver and Travels the World--Read to a Child

I'm going to start telling you about this series and the moles you will meet and the people too.

I will start with Mayor Molly McMole who sneaks into my studio and helps write this blog.

She is comfortable in her own skin, oops fur, and wants to protect her citizen moles and her beautiful Mole Town.

In doing so, she occasionally jumps to conclusions.  However, most of the time she lands on her paws.

She adores fashion--jewelry, shoes--a real fashionista.
Dressing up for the job makes her feel good inside, and her constituent moles respect her for it.

When her town is destroyed., she shows her inner strength and is able to "let go" and start anew, at least four times in her life through this book series.

She has encouraged the arts and pushes her moles into studying architecture, giving them stipends to build magical castles using roots, onion bulbs, and abundant adobe that when mixed with water makes bricks.  She doesn't stop there, she also builds sand castles in Hawaii.

She even helps a football coach in Book 6, Football Handbook.

                                             What in the Heck is a Mole Hole Anyway?

Just like Alice fell down a rabbit hole, Sophia the Cat did just that, only in her case it was a mole hole, my mole hole. It stirred up trouble in our Mole Town.  I certainly didn't expect it,  Thankfully the cat was unconscious but my first responders,
the Mole Town Fire Department, came to tie the cat down but just a little bit too late.

Sophia was on a mission to get rid of us because we make tunnels and mole hills.  Did you know
that we are very small with big appetites and we can dig our tunnels very fast looking for earth
worms. The property owners didn't like that so I had to solve a big problem

Have you every wondered what is down a mole hole?  Well, Lorraine Strieby did and she
wrote about  it in her book series The Adventures of Mayor Molly McMole, hey that's me!
I'm not what you expect, I'm rather glamorous, crafty, smart and brave.  My Mole Town
has castles with onion domes, made with real onions. You have to be resourceful living
down in our dark tunnels.

 However, I have architects Keith and Fred that not only build
castles, but sand castles, ice castles, and college campuses.  Remember there are six books
on kindle, two on Amazon and soon to be more on Amazon.

I want to talk about Spider Leggs and his magical, electrical web that has a mind of its own but
I hear  Lorraine and she doesn't know that I  use her blog too.  --I'm off to one of my castles...

Football Handbook with a New Twist

Lorraine is out of the studio now and I want to talk about her sixth book about

me and how I saved a woman football coach her job.  It just so happened

that our new home is under the College Tech Prep High Football Field and the coach hasn't won a game in three years.  I, of course, had help from Cat Sophia and a veterinarian from across the street. Of course, you know that Lorraine loves animals and football so she had to write about how

much she knows about football.  In her high school days there were no women

football coaches or players, but things have changed.  If you have a little

one in the house this book could lay out for them some pointers on the game,

but I can't say how she helped Mary but  lets say we saved the day.

There are two heroes that I can't talk about here because it would give the 

plot away.  Actually, I think Lorraine Strieby  just wanted to show off her

knowledge of football and write about one of her favorite pets and that

hero is not me but in a way I'll take some accolades because I figured out  what had to be done to save Mary from losing her job and  it will give you a laugh or two--maybe three.

This painting is in the Epilogue and Lorraine sometimes makes her own paper.

That's what she did here.

Anywhoo, this hunt and peck typing on her laptop is hard for me since I have

big paws so I'll say Merry Christmas and many blessings and joy for the new year.

Impeachment Hearings, Our Constitution, and Our Forefathers

Hardly  anyone talked about the Constitution and our forefathers,
but have you noticed that during the Impeachment Hearings
everyone is mentioning President Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and the Constitution.  Again, I am proud of our history
and especially our Constitution that is always there when we need it.  
Now the Constitution,  I believe, will again save our nation.  Remember:
we are a Republic and the Republic states that We the People 
are the ones that have the power in our vote.  

If we want to weaken the executive branch and the Presidency
this Impeachment is the way to do it.  If this happens, our votes
will be weakened and any president can be impeached for
any reason if Congress doesn't like the result.

Our forefathers were afraid of this happening.  This is a sad
day.  I still believe that in the end our rights will prevail and
this will be solved in a fair process.   Thank you President Washington, Alexander Hamilton and our other forefathers
and the Constitution.  It seems that the Congress chose to
beat a path to weaken the Presidency.

The Most Famous Veteran Hero Ever

Famous Veteran Hero Ever!  I'm posting as Mayor Molly McMole today in honor of Veteran's Day.
First, a history lesson.  Do you know what a Warrant Officer is?  Well the English had this
officer title since the 1600s.  Now a warrant officer is warranted by the country to be in the
military because he/she has special skills.  Well, Commander-in-Chief  George Washington's top
aide was Mr. Billy Lee.  Oh by the way when they retire you are suppose to address them as
"Mr" if he is a man and also "Sir" if that fits.  Well, meet Mr. Billy Lee.  Today officer of
his rank would make approx $160,000 a year.  The Country needs his skills.  Well, here enters
black Warrant Officer, Mr. Billy Lee.  Lorraine Strieby has studied this and wonders
why this officer is one that no one teaches about, so he is relatively unknown, this son of         
Colonel John Lee.  If you  look Mr. Billy Lee up on the Internet her image
of this painting and others will pop up.  Colonel Lee knew that his son was special
when Mr. Billy Lee was three years old.  So, he taught him at a very early age, two languages,
math, and how to ride a horse, and shoot a gun.  When the Colonel died he willed him and his   
brother, Frank, to Washington. While young George Washington and Billy Lee became
very close.  Our first Commander-in-Chief and Warrant Officer Billy Lee were the best
horsemen in the Colonies.  Mr. Billy Lee was constantly with him in the Revolution on his
horse, Chinkling and Commander Washington on his famous horse ever, Nelson.  Nelson
had a white blaze, white stockings, and a sorrel color--Not the white horse, Blue, a pleasure
horse.  Nelson was not afraid of gun fire, the loud noise of cannons, in fact Washington and
Nelson rode as one spirit.  Now here is the thing, Mr. Billy Lee, was the best rider in this
war and young Nation.  Mr. Billy Lee carried a carbine and saved Washington's life more than
once.  Now, how could this officer be neglected and called a slave by the historians of the day
and even today. In one of Washington's journal  he wrote that Mr. Billy Lee, a Warrant Officer, had an
Honorable Discharge.  Oh!  ONE MORE THING--after the Revolution, people came to see
not only the Commander-in-Chief, but to see Mr. Billy Lee ride Chinkling through a
virgin forest.  He was given a stipend and a house on the Mount Vernon Estate.
