INDEPENDENCE DAY, ROLLS AROUND EVERY 4TH OF JULY---CAN'T FORGET OUR FOREFATHERS AND HISTORY-- A YEARLY REMINDER

Lorraine Strieby says Happy Independence Day! Our forefathers when they signed the Declaration of Independence, they knew if Commander George Washington didn't win the war with England, the most powerful country in the world, they would be tried for treason. It took 5 more years to win the war making our nation truly an independent nation. Our original states and the people therein wanted freedom from tyrany. Have we forgotten our history and our men and women who fought for our freedom? In keeping with this, here are some words that President Reagan spoke on January 5, 1967: tThe deteriation of every government begins with the decay of the principle upon which it was founded, He also said Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. Im glad Independence Day rolls around every year, Yea! we can't forget our history and our forefathers. In keeping with that, the USA is also a REPUBLIC meaning that we the public elect our representives in each individual state--both large and small, two senators each. Clever, yes? The smaller states have equal power with the more populated states. Independence Day rolls around every year, reminding us of how our ancestors made a free nation. our forefathers, and our history. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY - HISTORY MYSTERY - WHEN WAS THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR WON, HINT it wasn't July 4th, 1776

IMG_3377.JPG History Mystery—Benjamin Franklin was 😎 Cool When our forefathers signed The Declaration of Independence they could be executed for defying the most powerful country in the world. They had guts—yes… We didn’t win our independence yet. Washington was in NYC with our troops. The forefather Franklin (below) helped win the war. Washington had a plan—we will get them in Yorktown and it took him 5 years 1781. Franklyn went to France to visit the Royal Court. The ladies thought he was cool. There he got France to join us by delivering 24 ships and an admiral De Grasse and the biggest gun ship in the world. Cornwallis didn’t have a clue and the Brits were humiliated at Yorktown. Washington and Warrant Officer black Billy Lee were there to meet and greet Cornwallis but he was cowering in his Redoubt Get the message. “And the rockets red glare” That was De Grasse taking out the Brit’s’ ships with rockets! Bet you weren’t taught this in school. Lorraine Strieby AKA Mayor Molly McMole NOTE: Franklin always wore his coonskin hat with his uniform and the French ladies thought he was charming 😎 and cool.

HISTORY MYSTERY UNCOVERED BY LORRAINE STRIEBY George Washington and Tanacharison - A Spoonful of Sugar

CAN I EXPLAIN MY PAINTING PLEASE Here is history in a painting--the fellow on the left is a mentor of the fellow on the right. Tannacherison worked for George Washington as a spy. A French toddller that was kidnapped by the Iriquois. Washington was a colonist and fought with the British and the Iriquois taught him how to fight. Commander George Washington on the right side is pictured in his Revolution uniform with the image of Tanacharison behind him who was killed in the French Indian War. TANACHARISON was a perfect spy because of his knowlege and spoke French. See that was easy right? Were you taught this in school, bet not! Again a forefather overlooked; however, a movie was made of him so he is not totally lost in our schools Some historians believe the French Indian War was more important than the Revolution. #americanrevolution #frenchamericanwar #historybuff #homeschooling #historymysteryuncovered

MAYOR MOLLY MCMOLE JUMPED FROM HER MOLE HOLE INTO A SIX-BOOK SERIES, SEE AUTHOR LORRAINE STRIEBY INTERVIEW WITH BRAD HIROU, FILM PRODUCER

On March 11, 2022, I was interviewed by Bradley Hirou about my series "The Adventeures of Mayor Molly McMole" He asked me questions as to how did this adventure of Molly begin. My yard and horse property were taken over by a mole tribe and nothing worked to eliminate this mole(s). One of my daughters suggested that I write about her. After taking a class on wrtiting for children--Mayor Molly McMole jumped out of her mole hole and into a six-book series. My teaching career and visting many places here in American, Emrope, Russia, Hawaii, Africa, gave me some background to make this mole tribe have an adventure--opening experiences that children will learn about many things. Each book teaches something, and Book 5, "Why is a Spy Called a Mole" is fantasy based on fact about the American Revolution. Let me say that when I went to school President George Washington was hardly every mentioned. Who was this person who had a big home in Virginia and was our first President? You will learn about him through Molly's ancestor, Christopher McMole, Master Spy for Commander George Washington. Well, the facts that I learned after 4 years of research, dusting off history books and reading Chernow's book, "Washington a Life" blew my mind and it made me want to share his story--not many of us could have accomplished what he did. Not only was he a soldier, horseman, surveyor, but his best friend was black Mr. Billy Lee, Warrant officer, accountant, spoke two languages, saved Washington's life more than once, sometimes wore a fancier uniform than Washington and Washington was all for it. Now that you know about Mr. Billy Lee how many hiatorical paintings of him can you find with Washington? I found 6 and still counting. One was just sold for $26 million dollars, only two men in the painting--Washington and Lee! Let us not forget--he helped design the White House and Washington DC. Thank you Bradley Hirou and the Voice of Healing News for this interview about an adventurous mole (which includes her small tribe, Cat Sophia, a villian, and a helpfull rooster in Hawaii). Not to mention, a lovely lady, Abby, they meet in Alaska, remember Molly is on an adventure. #moiceofhealingnews, #georgewashington #mr.billylee #mole #spy #adventure #americanrevolution #childrenbooks #adventure #adventurestories #historicalpaintings #illustration #childrenadventurestories #americanrevolution #childrenbooks #storyteller #mole #molehole #adventure #georgaphy #geology #illustrator #creativity #history #homeschooling #georgewashington #Italy #hawaii #animal #animallovers
